My painting on paper "Les Passages" is set inside a Passages Couverts, one of Paris’s chic hidden walkways.
In my artwork, a stylish flâneur strolls into the entrance of a glorious glass-roofed passage.
The Passages Couverts (covered passages) in Paris provide shelter from the rain, present opportunities to browse and shop, or spend a secluded hour in the arms of a lover.

For me, walking in a city is one of life's greatest treasures. Over the years, I have created art influenced by my urban treks in cities across the globe. The light, streets, and humanity in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Paris, Venice, Verona, Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo, and Kyoto has found its place in my artwork and continues to inspire new paintings built upon my memories of time and place.
